I've taken a break obviously. Mostly to get this iPod sitchyated. I have a DJ Screw discography I got off Pirate Bay... and it's amazing, but all the tags are fucked up. So I've been going through 200+ grey tapes tagging them so they play right on my iPod.
The upside... I've really got a nice crash course in the Greys. I have most of these on CD, some from back in the Napster days; so they are all untagged and sometimes incomplete. I've also assembled and collected about 20 GBs of Tubby, Pablo, Scientist and Scratch from various storage DVDs. It's been a lobor of love I guess.
I am going to start my next mix project tomorrow. I'm hoping to re-edit, remix some of the older mixes from back when I wasn't as dubby. We'll see how it goes.

DRY AND DUSTY
Here's another one. Really sweet. The Omar S. song is a bit dirty, but it's in the original mix, it's a raw Detroit type track.... real lofi tekno.

I LOVE CATS
Here's the new mix. I love what I did with YACHT and CocoRosie. Some really good ish on here. Perhaps that Norman Nodge gets a bit dancefloor repetitive... but it has cool sounds so me decide to kept it.

EVERYONE'S GOT TO MAKE A LIVING
Here's the mix, tracklist and all. I really like a lot of this... although I probably painted myself into a corner with that Kat Hanna track... I do like how it transitions into Nathan Fake though.
I really love Tara Simmons take on the Art of Noise. I slurred it up too... but opted for the regular speed mix. I'll post the slowed one later. I love being able to use a Beta Evers track, and play with it a little, as I used to know Brigitte on the interweb quite a bit. She's a vet over on the Global Darkness board (http://www.smack-dynamik.com/.) If you care about real analog synth music, you should get over there every now and again.
